Native was founded on the idea that your travels are an opportunity to enhance and protect the natural environment. We want you to enjoy spending time on your holidays, and believe the local environment and community can thrive on the back of your adventures.
NATIVE is a regenerative hospitality project. This means we don’t just run our business sustainably, we invest in ecological conservation to ensure we have a positive environmental impact.
We believe wild nature and thriving ecologies are the solution for many of our environmental challenges, including carbon sequestration, soil health, habitat for species, and flood and water management.
This is why we invest specifically in rewilding. We invest 20% of our profits in financing nature conservation, managing at risk landscapes, planting native trees, boosting biodiversity, protecting flora and fauna, and eradicating invasive species.
As part of a stay at NATIVE, guests will be invited to visit a 75 acre rewilding site near the village of Ballydheob. Here guests can learn about rewilding and Irish landscape typologies. We believe that through learning, education and action we can overcome Ireland’s ecological challenges.
